Cloverfield reviews from other leading critics

Empire - 5 Stars
A dazzling experiment that paid off immensely, this is cinematic pleasure at its purest. One caveat: If they ever make a sequel, we’re taking two stars back.

Premiere - 3 stars

Roger Ebert - 3/4 stars
An effective film, deploying its special effects well and never breaking the illusion that it is all happening as we see it.

A.V Club.com - A-

Entertainment Weekly - B+
Cloverfield kills its darlings with élan, thanks to the brilliant, post–Blair Witch Project decision to tell the story through amateur footage shot by one of the refugees — a big-picture disaster seen through the viewfinder of little, self-absorbed people. Here, only airplanes have a chance against the beast, and beauty is useless. Only in New York, kids

Imdb - 8.1/10 stars (currently)

Rotten Tomatoes - 76/100

Thus overall this proves i am a Brit in my heart. Hella to u EMPIRE.!
